Professional development continues to be top-of-mind for many of our in-house counsel members. To continue to be relevant to their needs, we must constantly provide networking opportunities in a business and social setting, creating solid programming and services that cater to professional requirements.

I believe that over the past several years, we have accomplished much in this regard. As we continue to be pertinent to our members and provide opportunities for sharing best practices, our members will be able to take key information back to their respective organizations.

We continue to line up a series of events and to offer luncheons with topics including fraud in businesses, corporate pension plans, privacy, and contract management. It is our goal that addressing issues significant to our diverse membership will promote in-house counsel professional excellence.

I look forward to working with many Quebec CCCA colleagues whose ideas, volunteer support and effort continue to help us all grow in terms of both professional development and recruitment. Remember, new members are always welcome.
